Finding the right career after completion of your military service requires more than attending job fairs or looking for a job on the Internet.  We have found that job fairs are ineffective – the military job fair or expo usually consists of the same employers, the same jobs, in the same locations.  We also know that submitting your résumé to Monster, Career Builder or any Internet job site or company website is also ineffective because you submit your résumé to some collection email address and your résumé gets buried amongst thousands of others.
We are experienced recruiters and also employment agents.  We place, and have placed, great job seekers like you, all over the United States in satisfying careers.  As recruiters we are paid by the employer for a successful placement.  If a company does not pay recruiter fees, we work as employment agents.  Employment agents are paid by the job seeker after being successfully hired to a job found by the employment agent.  In the U.S., only 50 out of 1,000 companies pay recruiting fees.  Many times these are forgettable companies with regrettable jobs, in sub-prime locations. So you can see that most of the time we act as employment agents --- 950 out of 1,000 of our job fees are paid for by the employee.

What do we do for our fee that you will pay?  We do a thousand things that you cannot do when you submit your résumé on-line together with 10,000 other applicants, or working the telephone making blind calls into corporations that advertise jobs.  We represent you into companies, to a real hiring person.  Let me give you an idea of what an agent can do for you --- do you have the name and can you pick up the telephone and contact a hiring manager of companies with jobs posted on the Internet?  Do you have such a relationship with these managers that they will take your call and you will not be shuffled off to voice mail hell?  We do.  From our regional and national job fair business, we have over 400 hiring contacts within companies that are hiring all over the country, not just in your area.

We make personal contact within the company HR or Personnel Department before we submit your résumé to that company.  We do not blindly submit résumés to résumé collection email addresses.  We find the job that is a fit for you; we find out about the job before we advise you of it.  We first obtain your permission to submit you for a job, before we submit your résumé.  We disclose the name and contact information within the company who will be working your employment candidacy.  We assist with salary, benefits, sign-on bonus and relocation package development.  Where appropriate, we assist to negotiate employment contracts and severance packages or “Golden Parachutes.”  We will submit you to career opportunities that you either never considered or never heard were available.  The most important thing we can also do is to place you into a career where you and your family wish to live.  It does not help to get 12-great job offers in the Houston, Texas area, if you want to live in Montana fly-fishing country. 

We charge a 10% fee of your total compensation package.  Our professional fees are due upon you reporting for work.   Our fees are only due if we place you; there are no retainers or advance payments.  We totally fund the risk and cost of your job search.  Of course, we can also arrange for you to pay your fee over time.
